Removal procedure
1. Raise and support the vehicle. See Part 0B. General information.
2. To maintain wheel balance, mark the position of the front wheel and hub relative to each other. Remove the wheel. Follow section 2E, Tires and Wheels.
3. Remove the hollow bolt of the brake caliper hose. Remove the sealing rings.
4. To prevent leakage and contamination of brake fluid, it is necessary to seal the holes in the caliper and brake hose.
5. Remove the caliper guide pin bolts.
6. Remove the caliper.
Note: Whenever removing a brake caliper from its mount with the brake hose attached, the caliper must be secured with strong wire or similar means. Failure to do so will result in the flexible brake hose bearing the weight of the caliper, which may damage the brake hose and cause brake fluid to leak out.

Installation procedure
1. Install the caliper guide pin bolt.
Tighten
Tighten the caliper guide pin bolts to 44 N·m (32 lb-ft).
2. Attach the brake hose to the caliper using a hollow bolt and O-rings.
Tighten
Tighten the brake hose-to-caliper bolt to 44 N·m (32 lb-ft).

3. Align the marks that were made when removing the front wheel and install the wheel. Follow section 2E, Tires and Wheels.
4. Lower the car.
5. Fill the master cylinder reservoir with clean brake fluid to the required level.
6. Bleed the brake system. See Part 4A. Hydraulic brakes.
