Removal procedure



1. Remove the clamp securing the vacuum hose to the brake booster.

1. Remove the clamp securing the vacuum hose to the brake booster.


2. Remove the hose from the brake booster.

2. Remove the hose from the brake booster.


3. Remove the clamp securing the vacuum hose to the intake manifold.

4. Remove the vacuum hose.

4. Remove the vacuum hose.


Installation procedure



1. Install the vacuum hose and ensure tight connections at both ends.



2. Install clamps on the vacuum hose.

3. Check the amplifier for proper operation. See procedure "Checking the operation of the vacuum booster" in this section.
