Front Bumper Panel — Removal and Installation (Chevrolet Tahoe 2)

Avalanche



1. Raise the vehicle.

2. Unscrew the bolt of the front bumper stiffener.

3. Remove the fasteners (2) from the panel (1).

3. Remove the fasteners (2) from the panel (1).


4. Remove the headlights and fog lights.

5. Unfasten the latches securing the bumper panel to the radiator support.

6. Pull the top of the bumper panel until it releases from the clips (1) on the front fender.

7. Installation is carried out in reverse order. To make the work easier, install the headlights and fog lights first.

Z-77



1. Remove the front fog lights.

2. Release the lower bumper panel retaining clips.

2. Release the lower bumper panel retaining clips.


3. Remove the lower bumper panel.



4. Installation is carried out in reverse order.

Cadillac



1. Open the hood.

2. Remove the upper radiator shutter.

3. Remove the radiator grille.

4. Remove the upper fasteners (1) from the bumper panel.

4. Remove the upper fasteners (1) from the bumper panel.


5. Remove the upper bumper panel clips.

6. Raise the car.

7. Remove the two lower screws (1) securing the license plate panel.

8. Remove the three screws (2) covered by the license plate panel.

8. Remove the three screws (2) covered by the license plate panel.


9. Disconnect the fog light connectors.

10. Unscrew the inner upper fastener (1) of the fog lights.

11. Remove the front wheel arch liner retainers to gain access to the bumper panel T-bracket.



12. Using a flat-blade screwdriver (2), disconnect the bumper panel T-bracket (1) from the wing bracket.

13. Remove the front bumper panel.

14. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
