Removal



1. Disconnect the license plate light connector.

1. Disconnect the license plate light connector.


2. Unscrew the nut (1) of the bumper reinforcement.

2. Unscrew the nut (1) of the bumper reinforcement.


3. Unscrew the nuts (2) of the bumper mounting plate.

4. Unscrew the bolt (3) securing the bracket to the frame crossmember.

5. Unscrew the bolt (4) securing the bracket to the frame side member.

6. If installed, unscrew the bolts (1) securing the trailer drawbar to the bumper.

6. If installed, unscrew the bolts (1) securing the trailer drawbar to the bumper.


7. Remove the rear bumper from the vehicle.



Installation



1. Install the rear bumper on the vehicle.

2. If removed, install the trailer drawbar and tighten the mounting bolts.

3. Install the bumper reinforcement nut. Tighten the nut. Tightening torque 50 N·m.

4. Install the bumper mounting plate nuts. Tighten the nuts. Tightening torque 90 N·m.

5. Install the bracket mounting bolt to the crossmember. Tighten the bolt. Tightening torque 100 Nm.

6. Install the bracket-to-side member mounting bolt. Tighten the bolt. Tightening torque 40 Nm.

7. Connect the license plate light connector.
