Removal



Caution: When removing and installing the hood support support in the open position, secure the hood with a temporary support to avoid injury or damage to the vehicle.


1. Raise the hood (1).

2. Install temporary hood supports at the front and rear.

3. Loosen the bonnet ground cable mounting nut. Tightening torque 9 Nm.

4. Remove the engine compartment light bulb from the hood.

5. Loosen the bolts securing the hood hinge to the hinge bracket. Tightening torque 25 Nm.

6. Lower the hood.

7. Remove the outer part of the engine compartment bulkhead grille trim.

8. Loosen the bolts (3) and remove the bonnet with the help of an assistant. Tightening torque 25 Nm.



Installation



9. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
