Removal
1. Raise the hood.
2. Remove the upper radiator flap support.
3. Loosen the bolts (2) of the bonnet lock (1). Tightening torque 9 Nm.
4. Disconnect the hood close switch connector (if installed).
5. Disconnect the hood lock cable from the lock.
6. Remove the lock.
Installation
7. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
- a) When installing, adjust the height of the lock so that when the hood is closed, it rests firmly on the supports.
- b) Adjust the hood supports so that the hood is flush with the fenders.
