Removal
1. (Models before 2007.) Loosen the upper console mounting screw. Tightening torque 2 Nm.
2. Disconnect the upper console from the roof trim.
3. Disconnect the wiring connector from the front control panel.
Cadillac Escalade, models before 2005.

Models from 2007, with mechanical drive. 1 - screw, 2 - front control panel of additional air conditioning system. |
Models with automatic drive. 1 - upper console, 2 - climate control panel, 3 - connector. |
4. Remove the upper console.
5. (Models since 2007.) Loosen the screws securing the front control panel to the upper console. Tightening torque 2 Nm.
6. (Models with mechanical control) Remove the climate control panel from the overhead console.
(Automatic models) Press the four clips and detach the climate control panel (2) from the upper console and remove it.
Installation
7. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
