Removal



Cadillac Escalade (models before 2005.)



1. Disconnect the electrical connector from the ventilation mode switching servo located to the left of the air duct.

2. Loosen the screws.

2. Loosen the screws.


3. Disconnect the drive cable from the lever.

4. Remove the ventilation mode switching servo drive.

5. Installation is carried out in reverse order.

Note: Before installing the servo, please adjust it:
  • Connect the wiring connector to the servo.
  • Turn the ignition key to the "RUN" position. This will activate the servo drive self-adjustment function.
  • Turn the ignition switch to the "OFF" position.


Chevrolet Tahoe, Cadillac Escalade (models since 2005.)



1. (Models since 2007.) Remove the knee support.

2. Disconnect the additional lower air duct (1) from the lower air duct (2).

2. Disconnect the additional lower air duct (1) from the lower air duct (2).


3. (Some models) Remove the center console.



4. (Some models) Loosen the screws securing the central air duct. Tightening torque 2 Nm.

5. (Some models) Remove the center air duct.

6. Disconnect the wiring connector from the mode shift servo (10).

6. Disconnect the wiring connector from the mode shift servo (10).


7. Loosen the screws securing the servo drive to the air conditioning unit. Tightening torque 2 Nm.

7. Loosen the screws securing the servo drive to the air conditioning unit. Tightening torque 2 Nm.


8. Remove the ventilation mode servo drive.

Installation



9. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
