Removal



1. Pump the refrigerant out of the air conditioning system.

2. Disconnect the additional evaporator tubes (3) from the condenser tube (2) and the accumulator (5). Tightening torque 16 Nm.

3. Loosen the clamp securing the right front wheel arch liner.

4. Raise the vehicle.

5. (Models since 2007.) Remove the footrest on the right side.

6. (Models since 2007.) Remove the front fender liner on the right side.

7. (Models since 2007.) Remove the rear fender liner on the right side.

8. Unscrew the nut (2) and disconnect the tubes (3) of the additional evaporator from the additional air conditioning unit. Tightening torque 16 Nm.

8. Unscrew the nut (2) and disconnect the tubes (3) of the additional evaporator from the…


9. Unscrew the nut (4) securing the heater tubes from the stud (1) on the frame (6). Tightening torque 7 Nm.



10. Disconnect the tubes (3) of the additional evaporator from the holder (5).

11. Remove the additional evaporator tubes.

Installation



12. Installation is carried out in reverse order.

13. Evacuate the system and fill the system with refrigerant.

14. Using a special device, check the connected fittings of the system for refrigerant leaks.
