Removal



Cadillac Escalade (models before 2005.)



1. Remove the instrument panel trim.

2. Remove the radio.

3. Carefully press the latches and detach the control panel from the instrument panel.

4. Disconnect the air flow mixing flap drive cables and the air flow direction changing flap drive cables.

5. Disconnect the electrical connector from the control panel.

6. Remove the control panel.

7. Installation is carried out in reverse order.

Chevrolet Tahoe, Cadillac Escalade



1. Remove the front decorative trim from the instrument panel.

2. (Mechanical models, pre-2007 models.) Remove the additional storage compartment.

3. Remove the additional switch from the instrument panel.



4. Loosen the air conditioning control panel mounting screws. Tightening torque 2 Nm.

5. (Models before 2007.) Press the latches and remove the climate control panel from the instrument panel.



6. Disconnect the wiring connectors from the climate control panel.

Installation



7. Installation is carried out in reverse order.

Note: Do not press the buttons on the air conditioning control panel during self-calibration. Pressing the buttons on the control panel during self-calibration will stop the process and cause the control panel to operate incorrectly.


8. Run the engine for one minute.
