Removal
1. Raise the vehicle and place safety posts under the frame.
Note: Do not use a wedge to separate the ball joints, as this may damage the joint boot. Use a special puller.
2. If the engine protection is installed, remove the protection.
3. Remove the outer tie rod.
4. Using a special key (2), unscrew the inner steering rod.

Installation
1. Remove any remaining grease, glue and dirt from the tip seats.
2. Wash the threads of the inner rod with denatured alcohol, dry the threads.
3. Apply Loctite Threadlocker to the inner tie rod threads.
4. Install the inner tie rod onto the transverse tie rod (1). Tighten the end. Tightening torque 100 Nm.
5. Install the outer tie rod.
6. Install the engine protection.
7. Lower the vehicle.
8. Check the wheel alignment angles.
