Note: When you remove the key from the ignition and open the driver's door, the anti-theft system indicator on the instrument cluster will flash to remind you that the anti-theft system is not activated.

1. Activating the security mode
- a) Open the driver's door.
- b) Lock the doors using the central locking main switch or the remote central locking system. The anti-theft system indicator will stop flashing and remain lit.
- c) Close the doors. After about 30 seconds, the anti-theft indicator should go out, indicating that the security mode is on.
Note: The security mode will not be activated if the doors have been locked with the key or manually.
2. Alarm mode (alert).
- a) When the alarm mode is triggered, the sound signal is turned on for 30 seconds and the vehicle's external lighting flashes for two minutes.
- b) When the security mode is activated, the alarm mode is triggered if the doors are unlocked without using the key or transmitter.
- c) To force the alarm mode to switch off, unlock the side door locks using the key or the remote control transmitter of the central locking system.
3. If you do not want to activate the security mode, lock the doors only after all doors are closed.
