If the pointer arrow while driving shows a temperature of 130°C (265°F), then this indicates the possibility of overheating of the automatic transmission fluid. The multifunction display will show "TRANSMISSION HOT", and the automatic transmission control system will switch to a safe mode of operation, in which a gear will be engaged, allowing you to remove the load from the automatic transmission. Independent selection of the range of gears used will be possible after the temperature of the automatic transmission fluid drops to 127°C (26°F) or less.
If the pointer arrow while driving shows a temperature of 135°C (275°F), then this indicates overheating of the working fluid. The multifunction display will show "TRANS HOT IDLE ENGINE", a beep will also sound. Stop the vehicle immediately in a safe place, apply the parking brake, move the automatic transmission selector to the position "P" and let the engine idle until the coolant temperature drops to 127°C (26°F) or less. If the temperature of the automatic transmission fluid does not decrease, contact your dealer for troubleshooting.
Note: The following conditions can lead to overheating of the automatic transmission fluid:
- Towing a trailer or trailer.
- High outdoor temperature.
- Low level of automatic transmission fluid.
- High level of automatic transmission fluid.
- Insufficient cooling of the radiator of the cooling system.
