Automatic transmission rear housing (Chevrolet Tahoe 2)

Removal

1. Disconnect the propeller shaft from the automatic transmission.

2. Remove the automatic transmission support.

3. Place a jack under the main automatic transmission housing.

4. Place a container under the automatic transmission to collect the fluid.

5. Loosen the bolts (1) securing the rear crankcase. Tightening torque 45 Nm.



6. Remove the rear crankcase (2).

7. Remove and discard the sealing ring (3).

Installation

8. Installation is carried out in the reverse order. After installation, adjust the working fluid level.
