Pressure regulator — removal and installation (Chevrolet Tahoe 2)

1. Remove the automatic transmission filter.

2. Insert the reverse booster valve sleeve into the oil pump housing to relieve the load on the valve retaining ring.



3. Remove the reverse booster valve retaining ring and slowly release the valve sleeve.

4. Remove the sleeve (5) and valve (4).



5. Remove the springs (3) and (2) of the pressure regulator.

6. Remove the pressure regulator valve (1).

7. Installation in reverse order.
