Front propeller shaft. 1 - universal joint crosspiece, 2 - universal joint tube, 3 - universal joint crosspiece, 4 - sliding fork, 5 - length compensator boot clamp, 6 - length compensator boot, 7 - length compensator boot clamp.
Rear propeller shaft. 1 - sliding fork, 2 - universal joint bearing retaining ring, 3 - universal joint crosspiece, 4 - universal joint tube, 5 - universal joint bearing retaining ring, 6 - universal joint crosspiece, 7 - cover, 8 - bolt.
Caution: Before removing the front or rear propeller shaft, locate or mark the relative positions between the propeller shaft, drive shaft, and the flanges of the drive and driven gears. Assemble the units in the exact orientation relative to each other, observe all tightening torques and other recommended values.
Warning: When removing the drive shaft, do not strike the joint or place a lever between the fork and the joint, otherwise the joint may be damaged.
