Camshaft Phase Correction Device Solenoid Valve — Replacement (Chevrolet Trailblazer 1)

            0

1. A signal with a 12-volt potential and variable pulse width is sent from the PCM to the device's solenoid valve. The duration of the working cycle determines the amount of engine oil that enters the camshaft phase adjustment device. The device is connected to the exhaust camshaft. This design provides the ability to increase or decrease the camshaft phase via a hydraulic drive in the range from 0 to 25°. Continuous automatic adjustment of the exhaust camshaft phase increases engine torque and eliminates the need for an EGR valve.
