Contents of electrical connection diagrams
The electrical circuit diagrams presented in this manual use the symbols given below.
Note: the presence of the inscription (): HV-Type or []: MR-Type, or {}: Sirius D4 in the diagram indicates that the numbers of the contacts of the engine control unit connectors of the types specified in the note are enclosed in round, square or curly brackets. Almost all Chevrolet cars manufactured in Ukraine were equipped with HV-240 type units until now.
A: The upper horizontal lines are the power supply lines under different conditions:
- Circuit 30 - power supply directly from the battery, bypassing the ignition switch.
- Circuit 15 - power supply when ignition and starter are on.
- 15A circuit - power supply when the ignition is on and the starter is off.
- Circuit 15C - power supply when the ignition is on and in "ACC" mode.
- Chain 58 - power supply to the lighting circuits when the light switch is in position 1 and 2.
IN: Ef20 - fuse #20 in the fuse box located in the engine compartment. F2 - fuse #2 in the fuse box located in the passenger compartment.
WITH: Connectors (C101 - C902) (see connector description).
D: Cable splicing units (S101 - S303) (see description).
E: Internal circuits of the circuit components (relays) indicate the name of the component and the number of the contact in the connector.
F: Internal circuits of circuit components (switch) the component name, connector contact number and external connection circuits are indicated.
G: Abbreviations denoting the color of wire insulation.
H: Bottom horizontal line: ground line to "mass" (G101 - G401) The designation B means ground to body.
