Removal procedure



1. Disconnect the cable from the negative terminal of the battery.

2. Disconnect the electrical connectors of the transmission controller.

3. Remove the transmission controller (TCM) and nuts.

3. Remove the transmission controller (TCM) and nuts.


Installation procedure



1. Install the gearbox controller mounting nuts.

Tighten

Tighten the gearbox controller mounting nuts to 20 Nm (15 ft·lbs).

2. Connect the electrical connectors.

3. Connect the cable to the negative terminal of the battery.

3. Connect the cable to the negative terminal of the battery.
