Shift Control Handle (Chevrolet Captiva 1)

Removal procedure

1. Apply the parking brake.

2. Move the gear shift lever back to one of the lower gears.

3. Remove two bolts.

4. Remove the handle from the gear shift lever.

Installation procedure

1. Install the handle and bolts onto the gear shift lever.

Tighten

Tighten the shift control handle bolts to 2 Nm (18 lbs.in).

2. Move the gear shift lever to the PARK position.
