Upper cargo door lock (Chevrolet Tahoe 2)

Removal

1. Remove the door trim panel.

2. Unscrew the bolts securing the lock to the door.



3. Remove the lock from the door.

4. Disconnect the lock release cable from the lock.

5. Remove the lock mounting bolts.

6. Remove the lock.

Installation

1. Connect the lock release cable to the lock.

2. Install the lock on the door.

3. Hand tighten the two lower mounting bolts.

• a) Close the door to allow the lock to self-set. Tighten the bolts. Tightening torque 9 Nm.
• b) Open the door.
• c) Install and tighten the upper bolt. Tightening torque 9 Nm.

4. Install the door trim panel.
