Refrigerant supply hose (Chevrolet Tahoe 2)

Removal

1. Pump the refrigerant out of the air conditioning system.

2. Loosen the bolt securing the refrigerant supply hose to the air conditioner compressor. Tightening torque 16 N·m.

3. Disconnect the refrigerant supply hose (2) from the compressor.



4. Loosen the nut securing the refrigerant supply hose to the air conditioner accumulator. Tightening torque 16 N·m.



5. Disconnect the hose from the battery.

6. Remove the refrigerant supply hose from the vehicle.

7. Remove and discard all sealing washers. Install plugs on the open ends of the tubes.

Installation

8. Installation is carried out in reverse order.

9. Evacuate the system and fill the system with refrigerant.

10. Check the system for refrigerant leaks.
