Removal
Warning: Do not attempt to remove the tie rod from the ball joint. If the tie rod needs to be replaced or disconnected, the following steps must be performed:
1. Remove the ride height sensor from the vehicle.
2. While holding the sensor lever with your hand, unscrew the sensor rod from the ball joint.
3. Remove the sensor rod from the ball joint of the mounting bracket.
Installation
4. Installation is carried out in the reverse order. Use special pliers to snap the rod onto the ball joint.
