Fuel level sensor — removal and installation (Chevrolet Tahoe 2)

Series 1500



1. Remove the fuel pump module (see section "Fuel tank" in the chapter "Fuel injection system").

2. Using a small screwdriver, press the holder (1) of the wiring connector.

3. Remove the sensor connector from the pump module cover.

4. Bring the sensor clamps (2) together and remove the sensor in an upward motion.

5. Installation is carried out in reverse order.

Series 2500



1. Remove the fuel pump module (see section "Fuel tank" in the chapter "Fuel injection system").

2. Disconnect the sensor connector (3).

3. Release the clip (1) securing the sensor.

3. Release the clip (1) securing the sensor.


4. Remove the sensor (2) by moving it downwards.



5. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
