Replacing the fuel level indicator sensor (Chevrolet Aveo T300)

You will need: a 10 mm wrench, 10 mm and 13 mm socket heads, a flat-blade screwdriver, pliers, and a container for draining fuel from the fuel pump module.

The fuel level indicator sensor is located in the fuel tank (on the fuel module body).

1. Reduce the pressure in the fuel system (see "Reducing pressure in the fuel system").

2. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.

3. Remove the fuel tank (see "Replacing the fuel tank and its filler pipe").

4. Remove the fuel module (see "Removal and installation the fuel module").

5. Disconnect the wire harness connectors from the spring ground.

6. Squeeze the retainer and disconnect the wiring harness connector from the fuel module cover.

7. Press the latch...

9. Install the new fuel gauge and other removed parts in the reverse order of removal.
