Replacing the parking brake indicator light switch (Chevrolet Aveo T300)

You will need: a 7 mm socket head, a TORX T25 key, a plastic mounting blade, and a flat-blade screwdriver.

1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.

2. Remove the floor tunnel lining (see "Removal and installation the floor tunnel lining").



3. Press the latch...



4. ...and disconnect the wiring harness connector from the parking brake indicator light switch.



5. Remove the screw securing the switch to the parking brake lever bracket.

NOTE: Shown with parking brake lever removed for clarity.

6. Remove the switch.

7. Install the switch in the reverse order of removal.
