Placement of identification plate in the doorway
Identification plate
The identification code is deciphered as follows: the first three letters, according to international standards, indicate the manufacturer's code; the next six digits are the car model; a number or letter of the Latin alphabet - the year of manufacture of the car; last seven digits
- chassis number, for a passenger car
- body number.
Engine number
Stamped on the engine cylinder block at the front, on the right side.
Manual gearbox number
Stamped on the top of the manual transmission near the engine.
Automatic transmission number
Stamped on the top of the automatic transmission.
