Vehicle operation under normal conditions
Vehicle operation in difficult conditions
When operating a car in difficult conditions, a reduction in the intervals of a number of types of maintenance is required.
Severe vehicle operating conditions are:
- regular short distance driving
- prolonged operation of the engine at idle speed,
- operation of the vehicle in a very dusty environment,
- driving in mountainous terrain or regularly towing a trailer,
- frequent use of low gears (regular city driving).
If the vehicle is used under the above conditions:
- engine oil and oil filter change every 7500 km,
- check and, if necessary, replace the air filter every 7500 km or 6 months (dusty area),
- change brake fluid and hydraulic clutch release fluid every 15,000 km (mountainous terrain, regular towing).
