Removal the fuel tank (Chevrolet Aveo T250)

Caution: The fuel system is under pressure. To avoid the risk of injury or fire, relieve the fuel system pressure before disconnecting the fuel lines.


1. Release the fuel pressure.

2. Disconnect the "-" battery cable.

3. Drain the fuel from the fuel tank.

4. Disconnect the parking brake cable mounting clamps and support the fuel tank to provide clearance.

5. Remove the fuel tank filler neck clamp.

6. Remove the fuel tank filler neck.

7. Remove the fuel filler neck from the fuel tank.

8. Disconnect the evaporative coolant tank control valve evaporative coolant tube tube.

9. Disconnect the fuel pump wiring harness connector at the right rear corner of the fuel tank.

10. Disconnect the fuel supply line near the right front corner of the fuel tank.



11. Disconnect the wire harness clamps and wire harness straps if necessary.

12. Install the support under the fuel tank.

13. Remove the fuel tank mounting bolts.

14. Carefully lower the fuel tank.

15. Remove the fuel tank.

16. Move parts if necessary.
