Tailgate lock for cargo compartment (Chevrolet Tahoe 2)

Removal

1. Lower the tailgate.

2. Loosen the lock handle bolts. Tightening torque 25 Nm.



3. Raise the tailgate.

4. Remove the handle cover by prying it up at the top with a screwdriver.



5. Disconnect the lock rods (1).



6. Release the tailgate by 45°.

7. Remove the limiting cables from the side board bolts and lower the board completely.





8. Loosen the lock mounting bolts. Tightening torque 25 Nm.



9. Disconnect the handle rod from the lock.



10. Remove the lock.

Installation

11. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
