Removal



1. Apply the parking brake and block the vehicle wheels.

2. Remove the brake master cylinder.

3. Drain the master cylinder reservoir.

4. Secure the master cylinder in a vice. Secure the cylinder by the mounting flange, not by the body.

5. Press the brake fluid level sensor clips and remove the sensor.

6. Carefully knock out the cotter pins holding the tank in place.

7. Removing the reservoir from the brake cylinder body.

8. Remove the reservoir seals from the master cylinder housing. Discard the seals.

Installation



9. Installation is carried out in reverse order. Before installation, wash the tank and its connection points with denatured alcohol.

10. Bleed the brake system.
