Removal



1. Remove the right rear wheel.

2. Disconnect the connector (1) of the bundle from the connector (2) of the right rear wheel speed sensor.

3. If the vehicle is equipped with the Z55 option, disconnect the chassis wire harness connector (3) at the right rear shock absorber.

4. If the vehicle is equipped with the Z55 option, disconnect the air tube from the right rear shock absorber.

5. Remove the wheel speed sensor rear wire harness support clip from the frame.

Please note: the clip can only be removed and installed in one specific direction.


6. Remove the right rear wheel speed sensor wire support clips from the frame and the suspension arm guide bracket.

Caution: Never attempt to remove the rear suspension load sensor link from the ball joint.


7. Disconnect the rod from the automatic suspension level control sensor:

a) Support the pull with your hand.

b) Rotate the tie rod ball end until it separates from the stud.

8. Place a jack under the rear axle.

9. Loosen the bolt (2) and nut (1) of the right Watt rod. Tightening torque 105 Nm.

10. If necessary, remove the rear axle final drive crankcase ventilation hose.



11. If necessary, remove the ventilation hose support clip from the rear brake cross pipe.

12. Loosen the bolt and nut securing the right rear stabilizer link to the frame. Tightening torque 65 N·m.

13. Remove the right rear stabilizer link from the frame.

14. Remove the bolt and nut of the lower support of the right rear shock absorber. Tightening torque 95 N·m.

15. Lower the right side of the rear axle until there is enough space to remove the muffler.

16. Unscrew the nuts securing the muffler to the catalytic converter.

Tightening torque 45 Nm.

17. To facilitate removal, lubricate the suspension insulators.

18. With the help of an assistant, remove the insulators from the hooks (1), (2) and (3). of the exhaust system (one of the design options is shown, on different models the number of suspension hooks is different).



19. With the help of an assistant, remove the insulator from the exhaust system suspension hook near the resonator.

Caution: When removing, do not stretch the rubber parts too much to avoid damaging them.


20. Remove the muffler.

Installation



21. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
