Removal
1. Raise the vehicle and place safety posts under the frame.
2. If installed, unscrew the engine guard mounting bolts and remove the guard.
Tightening torque 28 Nm.
3. Remove the automatic transmission support crossmember.
4. Perform operations according to items 3-18 of the section "Removing and installing the catalytic converter insulator".
5. Unscrew the nuts securing the neutralizer assembly to the muffler. Tightening torque 45 Nm.
6. Remove the oxygen sensor.
7. Unscrew the nuts (1) securing the catalytic converter to the exhaust manifold.
8. Separate the catalytic converters from the exhaust manifolds.
9. Remove the neutralizer assembly from the muffler.
10. When replacing the catalytic converter assembly, perform the following operations, otherwise proceed with the assembly installation.
11. Remove the neutralizer insulators.
12. Remove the oxygen sensors (1-5).
Tightening torque 42 Nm.
Installation
13. Installation in reverse order.
Attention: before installation, thoroughly clean the threads of the sensors and their seats, then apply a special anti-stick compound to the threads of the oxygen sensors.
