Note: Parts that can be reused must be marked so that they can be installed in their original location.
1. Wash the parts with solvent.
2. Dry the parts with compressed air.

3. Check the condition of the rocker arm bearings (2), assess the degree of mobility of the rocker arm for fastening or roughness.
4. Check the condition of the surfaces of the rod seat (3) and the rocker arm nose (1). The surfaces must be smooth without burrs or signs of wear.
5. Check the condition of the push rod bearing surfaces. The surfaces should be smooth and free of burrs or wear marks.
6. Check the bars for bending by rolling the bar on a flat surface.
7. Check the cleanliness of the oil supply channel in the rod.
8. Check the condition of the rocker arm support surfaces.
