If the valve or its electrical circuit is faulty, the normal operation of the system will be disrupted, fuel consumption will increase, and engine power will decrease. At idle and in transient modes, the engine may operate unstably. It is possible that the engine management system malfunction indicator light will be on on the instrument panel. To identify the causes of the malfunction, it is necessary to diagnose the engine management system and check the valve. The faulty valve must be replaced.

Replacement

1. We prepare the car for maintenance and repair.

2. Press the lock and disconnect the wiring harness block 1 from the valve.

2. Press the lock and disconnect the wiring harness block 1 from the valve.

3. Disconnect hose 2 from valve and valve hose 3 from the inlet manifold.

4 Remove the valve from the holder.

5. To check the valve, apply 12 V voltage from the battery to its terminals. When voltage is applied, the valve should open with a characteristic click. We repeat the test by creating a vacuum in the valve using a rubber bulb. When closed, air should not pass through the valve. We replace the faulty valve.

6. Install the valve in reverse order.
