Removal
To remove the oil pan, follow these instructions:
- disconnect the negative battery cable;
- remove the front right wheel and mudguard;
- drain the engine oil;
- disconnect the oxygen sensor;
- unscrew the nuts securing the bracket to the cylinder block and the upper flange of the catalytic converter to the exhaust manifold and remove the catalytic converter assembly with the front part of the exhaust pipe;
- unscrew the screws securing the oil pan to the gearbox;
- unscrew the mounting screws and remove the oil pan;
- remove the oil pan gasket.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
