NOTE: This subsection shows the removal of the left outside rearview mirror. The right mirror is removed in a similar manner.
1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.
2. Pry up the edge of the decorative mirror cover and remove the cover, overcoming the force of the clamps.
3. Pull out the retainer and disconnect the wiring harness connector from the mirror connector.
4. Remove the plug in the door trim...
5. ...and unscrew the mirror mounting bolt located underneath it.
6. Remove the other two bolts securing the outside mirror...
7. ...and remove the mirror.
8. Install the outside rearview mirror in the reverse order of removal.
