1. Remove the right rear mudguard (see "Removal and installation wheel arch liners and mudguards").
2. Press the locking tab on the fuel filler pipe door lock electric wiring harness connector and disconnect the connector from the lock.
3. Remove the fuel tank filler pipe (see "Removal and installation the fuel tank and its filler pipe").
4. Press the latch...
5. ...and remove the fuel tank filler neck assembly with the hatch cover and lock.
6. Press the lock retainer...
7. ... remove the lock from the bracket...
8. ...and remove the locking rod from the hole in the filler neck.
9. Install the fuel tank filler pipe cover lock in the reverse order of removal.
