1. Open the hood.

2. Disconnect the windshield washer pump hose from the fitting on the hood.

3. Squeeze the hose holder latches and remove the holder from the hood hinge.

4. If you are going to install the old hood, mark the location of the hinge brackets relative to the hood by tracing them, for example, with a marker.

5. Unscrew two nuts on each side securing the hood to the hinges and remove the hood.
USEFUL TIP: The hood is quite heavy and bulky, so we recommend removing it with an assistant.
6. Install the hood in the reverse order of removal. If you are installing the old hood, before finally tightening the mounting nuts, you must orient it according to the previously applied marks. Otherwise, the position of the hood must be adjusted so that the gaps between the hood and the fenders are the same on both sides, and the gap between the upper cross member of the radiator frame and the edge of the hood is uniform along its entire length.

NOTE: The gap between the upper cross member of the radiator frame and the edge of the hood on the cross member is adjusted by turning the rubber hood buffers out or in.
