According to the requirements of the Road Traffic Regulations, children under 12 years of age must be transported in special child seats.

The car's standard seat belts can be used to secure the child seat...

...or, if the seat is equipped with ISOFIX type fastenings, it is secured using special brackets and straps (see below in this subsection).
Information on the types of child seats and the places in the vehicle where they can be installed is provided in Table 1.2.
Categories 0 and 0+ (up to 13 kg)
The neck of a two-year-old child is very fragile. Transport children in basket-type seats installed against the direction of travel. This position ensures maximum safety for the child.
Category I (9-18 kg)
For transporting children from 2 to 4 years old, use a wrap-around seat that allows you to support the child with a special child seat belt or a special elastic cushion.
Category II (15-25 kg) and III (22-36 kg)
For children under 12 years of age, use a booster seat with belt guides that allow the seat belt to slide across the child's hips without twisting.

For installing and securing a child seat (depending on its type) the rear shelf of a sedan car has special loops for attaching the upper straps, covered with decorative covers...
NOTE: On hatchback models, the child seat anchorage points are located on the rear of the rear seatback.

...and in the gap between the cushion and the back of the rear seat there are brackets for the lower ISOFIX type fastenings.

The locations of the staples are indicated by special marks.
WARNINGS: Children may be transported in a rear-facing child seat in the front seat only if the front passenger airbag is deactivated, if so equipped.

If the car does not have a switch, it is prohibited to transport a child in a child seat in the front seat!

To turn off the airbag, press the left edge of the switch located on the instrument panel console. The airbag deactivation mode indicator light in the switch will light up and remain on continuously.
After removing the child seat, do not forget to press the right side of the switch button, and the airbag indicator light in the button will light up.
Never hold a child on your lap in a moving vehicle.
