Attention:
- It is recommended that children be transported only in the rear seat and that they be restrained in a child restraint system.
- Holding your baby in your arms is not a substitute for a child restraint.
Warning about installing child seats in vehicles with a front passenger airbag (SRS)
The sign shown in the figure is attached to vehicles equipped with a passenger airbag.

Attention:
- Do not use rear-facing child restraints in the front passenger seat where the air bag is located. The force of the passenger seat air bag deployment could force the child restraint against the seat back, causing serious injury.
- Forward-facing child seats must be installed in the second or third row seats.
- If you are installing a child seat on the front passenger seat, move the seat to its rearmost position.
2. Recommendations for transporting infants and young children.
a) For infants of such a size that the shoulder belt contacts the face or neck when seated, a baby bassinet should be used instead of a child seat. For younger children, a child seat should be used.
b) Retaining device (child seat) for children must correspond to the weight and height of your child and must be installed correctly in the car. To secure the child seat, use the standard seat belts and special fasteners.
c) When installing a child seat, follow the instructions provided by the manufacturer of the device. Failure to follow these instructions may result in serious or fatal injury to your child.

d) When the child seat is not in use, secure it with the seat belt or remove it from the vehicle to prevent it from accidentally injuring your child.
Note: Before purchasing a child seat, check to see if it fits securely in the rear seat. Sometimes the seat belt buckles located on the seat cushion can make it difficult to install some types of child seats securely. If the child seat can be moved forward on the seat cushion after tightening the belt, choose a different child seat.
Note: For some child seats, the usual fastening with seat belts may not be sufficient. In this case, use a special belt buckle, which will additionally hold the child seat. Install the special buckle in accordance with the instructions of the child seat manufacturer.

3. Recommendations for transporting teenagers.
Children who are no longer fit in a child seat should be in the back seat and wear a combination lap and shoulder belt. The lap portion of the belt should fit snugly around the child's thighs, just below the pelvis, below the abdomen. Otherwise, in a crash, the belt could cut into the abdomen and injure the child.
Warning: Children who are not wearing seat belts may be thrown from the vehicle in the event of an accident.
4. Activation of automatic locking ("ALR" mode) of the 3-point rear seat belt for fastening a child seat.
a) To set the "ALR" mode of the belt after installing the child seat, pull the belt until it stops, then, after a click, release the belt and let it retract to the position you need. After the belt is retracted, a click will be heard, indicating that the "ALR" mode of the belt is activated (in this case, the belt cannot be pulled out of the inertia reel). If necessary, tighten the belt to remove any slack at the waist.

b) To deactivate the "ALR" mode, unfasten the belt and allow it to fully retract into the inertia reel, then pull it out slightly and release the belt.
Warning: The "ALR" mode may be activated if the passenger, wearing a seat belt, leans forward so that the belt is pulled out of the reel as far as it will go. In this case, to deactivate the "ALR" mode, you must unfasten the belt and allow it to fully retract into the inertia reel, then fasten the belt again.
5. Special attachment for child seat.
The car can be equipped with three special anchorages behind the rear seat, to which a child seat can be secured with short straps.
Second row of seats (one of the options) |
Third row of seats (one of the options) |
6. Special "LATCH" fastenings for a child seat.
a) When using a child seat with this mechanism, greater safety is achieved, as well as faster and easier installation of the child seat compared to other child seats.
b) Special brackets (brackets) are located in pairs under the backrests of the side seats of the rear seat.

c) To install the seat, insert the child seat bracket connectors into the lower mounts (brackets) until you hear a characteristic click of the connector lock. Secure with a short belt (top mount) seats for a special mount behind the rear seat.
1 - child seat bracket connector, 2 - lower mount, 3 - rear seat back, 4 - rear seat cushion, 5 - special bracket.
