- front passenger front airbag;
- front passenger side airbag;
- front passenger seat belt pretensioner.
The activation system detects the presence of a person in the front passenger seat. To correctly detect the presence of a passenger, follow these recommendations:
- do not place heavy objects on the front passenger seat cushion;
- do not install overhead tables on the back of the front passenger seat;
- do not rest your hands or feet on the back of the front passenger seat from the rear seat side.
"AIRBAG ON" indicators and "AIRBAG OFF", displayed on the interior rearview mirror panel, inform about the activation or deactivation of the front airbag, side airbag and front passenger seat belt pretensioner.
Indicator "AIRBAG OFF" will flash when the ignition key is in the "ON" position in accordance with the "Child or child seat" condition in the "Front passenger air bag and seat belt pretensioner activation modes" table.
Indicator "AIRBAG OFF" the occupant activation system light may be on due to the following actions:
- the rear passenger's feet are under the front passenger seat cushion;
- there are foreign objects under the front passenger seat cushion;
- the back of the front passenger seat rests against the second row seat cushion.
The "AIRBAG ON" indicator comes on when a passenger is sitting in the front seat. If there is a passenger in the front seat and the seat belt is fastened, the indicator comes on "AIRBAG OFF", ask him to sit in the back seat or move the seat as far back as possible.
Also an indicator "AIRBAG OFF" may light up if the passenger is seated incorrectly in the front seat.
