Coolant temperature sensor
1. When the engine is cool, press the latch (see photo) and disconnect the connector. Then unscrew the sensor.

2. Before installing a new sensor, wrap its threads with Teflon tape (see photo).

Throttle Position Sensor (TPS)
3. The sensor is mounted on the end of the throttle shaft.
4. Remove the air filter.
5. Disconnect the connector, unscrew 2 screws (see photo) and remove the sensor.

6. When installing the sensor, align the sensor lever with the throttle lever on the throttle body.
Idle air valve (IAC valve)
7. Remove the air filter and disconnect the connector from the valve.
8. Unscrew the sensor (or unscrew the mounting screws) and remove the sensors from the throttle body.
9. Before installing the valve, check and, if necessary, set the distance A to 25-28 mm (see photo), pressing the rod with a little force, moving it from side to side.
4.9 a. Adjustment size of IAC valve.
1. Ring
A. Protrusion of the metering valve stem.
B. Valve sealing cap diameter

Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor
10. The sensor mounts are shown in the photo.

Transmission neutral position sensor
11. Signal from this sensor (the sensor is mounted on the steering column) indicates to the processor unit that the transmission is in neutral position (Park/Neutral). The processor unit generates response signals to the transmission torque converter clutch (TCC), the recirculation system and the idle valve (IAC-valve).
Warning! It is highly recommended not to drive with the sensor disconnected, as it will significantly impair engine idling performance.
12. The procedure for removing and adjusting the sensor is discussed in Chapter 7.
Mass Air Flow Sensor (models since 1996)
13. The sensor is used on all models with the SFI system. The sensor is mounted in the intake air duct (see photo).

Intake Manifold Air Temperature (IAT) Sensor (models since 1996)
14. The sensor is located in the intake air duct, directly under the air filter. The sensor is a thermistor, its resistance changes from 100 kOhm to 70 Ohm on a warm engine.
Crankshaft position sensor (SKR sensor) (models since 1996)
15. The sensor is installed in the timing chain cover (see photo).

Camshaft position sensor (CMP sensor) (models since 1996.)
16. The sensor is mounted inside the ignition distributor. Sensor failure will not affect the engine performance.
