2. Clean the friction surfaces of the brake disc with denatured alcohol or an approved brake cleaner.
3. Measure the brake disc thickness at four or more points around the circumference at equal angular intervals. The micrometer should be approximately 13 mm from the outer circumference of the disc.

4. Compare the minimum disk thickness with the data specifications.
5. Determine the difference between the maximum and minimum thickness of the disc. Compare the result with the data specifications.
6. Based on the measurement results, decide whether to restore the disk or replace it.
Note: After repairing or replacing the brake disc, you must check the disc runout after installing it in place.
