Positive battery terminal cable (Chevrolet Tahoe 2)

Removal

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2. Remove the cover of the junction box (relay) under the hood.



3. Raise the connection block clamps from position (3) "closed" to position (1) "open".



4. Remove the connection block (relay).

5. Remove the positive battery cable connector (1) from the power distribution unit (under the hood).



6. Remove the main power supply circuit fuse cover.





7. Loosen the nut (3) securing the generator cable to the main fuse of the power supply circuit. Tightening torque 9 Nm.



8. Remove the battery charging generator cable end (4) from the stud of the main power supply circuit fuse.

9. Remove the positive battery cable channel from the engine compartment bulkhead studs.



10. Remove the positive terminal cable support clips from the engine compartment bulkhead.



11. Remove the positive battery cable from the main power supply circuit fuse stud.



12. Remove the positive battery cable channel from the engine compartment bulkhead studs.

13. Remove the cable from the vehicle.

Installation

14. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
