Removal
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Open the starter solenoid cable cover on the positive battery terminal.
3. Loosen the nut (5) securing the starter cable. Tightening torque 5 Nm.
4. Remove the starter cable from the positive battery terminal.
5. Place the starter cable aside.
6. Loosen the mounting bolts and remove the right upper front wing reinforcement. Tightening torque 9 Nm.
7. Loosen the battery mounting bracket bolt and remove the bracket. Tightening torque 25 Nm.
8. Remove the battery.
Installation
9. Installation in reverse order.
