Battery Charging Generator Cable (Chevrolet Tahoe 2)

Removal



1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2. Remove the air filter housing outlet duct.

3. Remove the main power supply circuit fuse cover.

3. Remove the main power supply circuit fuse cover.


4. Unscrew the nut (3) securing the battery charging generator cable to the main fuse stud.

4. Unscrew the nut (3) securing the battery charging generator cable to the main fuse stud.


5. Remove the generator cable end (4) from the fuse stud.

6. Remove the generator cable support clip (2) from the air conditioner evaporator tube.

7. Remove the generator cable support clip (1) from the stud.

8. Slide the generator cable cover (3) over the cable.

8. Slide the generator cable cover (3) over the cable.


9. Unscrew the nut (2) securing the cable to the generator.



10. Remove the generator cable end (1) from the generator stud.

11. Remove the generator cable from the vehicle.

11. Remove the generator cable from the vehicle.


Installation



12. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
