Caution: Head restraints reduce the risk of neck injury in a rear-end collision. Do not operate the vehicle with the head restraints removed. Adjust the height of the head restraints so that the center of the head restraint cushion is flush with the back of the head. After adjustment, lock the head restraints in the desired position.
Before driving, make sure the head restraints are in place and properly adjusted. Do not operate the vehicle with the head restraints removed.
Removing the head restraints is done as follows:
- raise the head restraint up to the stop;
- while pressing the release button, pull the head restraint out of the guide bushings.
