Removal the heat shields of the main and additional mufflers (Chevrolet Aveo T300)

You will need a 10 mm wrench.



1. Remove the main and additional mufflers (see "Replacing the main and additional mufflers").

NOTE: If there is no need to replace the exhaust system components, the main and additional mufflers can be left in place, as the heat shields are quite flexible. After unscrewing the mounting nuts of the heat shield to be replaced, remove it downwards from the studs and carefully turn it around the muffler.

2. Unscrew the nuts securing the heat shield to the base of the body...



3. ...and remove the heat shield.

NOTE: This is the location of the nuts securing the additional heat shields...

...and the main mufflers.

4. Install the heat shields in the reverse order of removal.
