Replacing the exhaust system suspension cushions (Chevrolet Aveo T300)

To replace the additional muffler suspension cushion, slide the cushion off the muffler bracket...

To replace the additional muffler suspension cushion, slide the cushion off the muffler bracket...


...and remove it from the front suspension crossmember bracket.

...and remove it from the front suspension crossmember bracket.


To replace the main muffler suspension cushion, slide the cushion off the muffler bracket...


To replace the main muffler suspension cushion, slide the cushion off the muffler bracket...


...and remove it from the body bracket pins.

Install new exhaust system suspension mounts in the reverse order of removal.

USEFUL TIPS: To make it easier to remove a damaged pillow, cut it with a knife until there are holes.


To make it easier to install the new cushion, lubricate the muffler and body brackets with a soap solution.
